Founded in 2002, Meute Technologies’ charter is to
pioneer the implementation of Intelligent Tracking Technologies, namely RFID & GPS,
AND to provide specialized IT solutions. Meute Technologies is headquartered in New Delhi,
India. The company is privately held.
Since its inception in 2002, Meute Technologies
has fervently sought to service our customers’ tracking & identification needs
with technologies such as RFID, Cellular Tracking, and GPS-GSM. These technologies promise
to completely revolutionize Automatic Identification & Data Collection (AIDC) by
increasing productivity, reducing errors, eliminating paperwork, and improving customer
service. Meute Technologies is led by a team of enthusiastic, young
professionals with a strong understanding of these technologies and its relevance &
application to a myriad of industries. With our expertise in providing IT
solutions, coupled with a strong knowledge of Tracking Technologies,
we aim to pioneer the implementation of tracking technologies across the globe.
Management Team
Ajay Magon
Ajay Magon is Meute’s Chief Executive Officer &
Chief Technology Officer. He has been actively associated with the absorption and
implementation of emerging technologies since 1987. Prior to co-founding Meute, Ajay was
Vice-President (Technology) at RMSI, where he was responsible for charting the direction
for RMSI’s future growth. In this role, he initiated new research directions,
identified & built competencies and proof-of-concepts. In addition, Ajay has served as
a consultant to various educational and commercial organizations, where he played a key
role in the selection and implementation of Internet, GIS, Security, Mobile Computing,
Locations Based Services and Low Cost Web Mapping technologies. As a group consultant at
NIIT, Ajay developed India's first Perception Recording System and Parallel Port Audio
Device. While there, he also developed the NIITNetVarsity, which is among the world's
first fully virtual Universities on the Internet. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Science degree
from Delhi University.
In his assignment as Chief Operations Officer at Outworx
Inc. he successfully established Outworx’s operations in India. While at Outworx, he
built everything from scrach and recruited world class talent for this start-up IT company
within a span of few months.
Ajay’s profound and in-depth knowledge in the domains
of publishing, multimedia, GIS, Internet and mobile computing has been successfully
applied in R&D and several commercial projects. He firmly believes in encouraging the
practical use of new technologies. He has experience in aligning business requirements and
technology options for efficient and effective implementation. He has an excellent
understanding of CMM and ISO Quality processes. His aggressive business outlook and vast
experience in handling and implementing new technologies provides Meute Technologies with
the vision and the direction for the future. His eye for emerging technologies and
understanding of various business domains will also enable the company to provide cost
effective solutions to its client.
